This didn't take long at all. On Thursday, news broke that Georgia quarterback Carson Beck was entering the transfer portal, saying goodbye to the Bulldogs. From that moment, speculation arrived that he could get ready to move to Coral Gables.

Less than 24 hours after his transfer news dropped, we already know where he's headed next. According to insider Pete Thamel, Beck has committed to Mario Cristobal and the Miami Hurricanes staff. This is without a doubt a monster get for the Canes. Is it time for fans to start dreaming about an ACC title and a trip to the College Football Playoff?

According to Pete Nakos too, Beck has already signed with Miami, making things official. Originally, the expectation was that Beck would enter the NFL Draft and chase his pro dreams. However, he had a change of heart and decided he wanted to play one more campaign of college ball.

Some UGA fans were hoping he'd return to the Bulldogs in 2025, but we know for sure that's not going to happen - Kirby Smart will now give the keys of the offense to Gunner Stockton. As for Miami, the question of who will take over for Cam Ward has been answered.

Ward is on his way to the NFL, with plenty of experts thinking he'll be the No. 1 overall pick. Ward joined Miami for the 2024 campaign from Washington State and he put up incredible numbers with the Canes. This was surely part of what Cristobal sold Beck on.

Beck tossed for 7,912 yards and 58 touchdowns throughout his outstanding career in the SEC with Georgia. Yeah, this guy knows how to throw the ball all over the field. He'll now be doing more of the same in the ACC. The 2024 college football season hasn't even ended yet, but now people all over Miami can't wait for the '25 campaign to get here.
