Make this happen, Mario!

Too early to start mentioning Carson Beck as the savior for the Miami Hurricanes during the 2025 season? We apologize, but that's how things are looking. With Cam Ward being one and done with the Canes, a new starter is needed.

With the greatest of respect for Emory Williams, he's not ready to be the full-time starter for this team. His performance in the Pop-Tarts Bowl is still being talked about, but not in a good way. Enter Beck to take over as QB1 for head man Mario Cristobal?

While no one knows if that will happen, speculation continues to arrive and multiple outlets have said the Canes are the favorites to land the former star Georgia quarterback. With all of that said, winning this recruiting battle feels like it's on a platter for Coach Cristobal. And you know what, he must do whatever is needed to get things done.

Landing Carson Beck would be a massive get for Miami head coach Mario Cristobal

Originally, the expectation was that Beck was going to enter the NFL Draft. However, the latest buzz was that he'd be a Day 2 pick at the earliest. With that in mind, why not play one more year in the college ranks on a sweet NIL deal and boost your stock?

That's exactly what Ward did. After a strong 2023 campaign with Washington State, Ward was considering entering the draft, but he decided to transfer instead. He landed a great deal to play for Miami, set records with the Canes and he's now projected to potentially be the No. 1 overall pick.

This is something Cristobal and the rest of the Miami staff can sell to Beck. Sure, there are going to be several other teams in the mix to try to land his signature, but the Canes will present him with a great opportunity. It feels like this team is in a prime position to push for an ACC title in 2025 with the right man behind center. Should that playmaker end up being Beck, fans would celebrate wildly.
