Miami is expected to start Nick Robert, Griffin Hugus and Brian Walters in the three-game series at Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons will start Logan Lunceford, Matthew Dallas and Blake Morningstar are the projected starting pitchers for Wake Forest. Lunceford leads the ACC and is third nationally with 42 strikeouts.
Wake Forest leads the ACC with 191 runs scored and is second with a 3.36 earned run average. Miami is fifth offensively in the ACC with 148 runs scored but 13th with a 4.76 earned run average. Daniel Cuvet is starting to heat up by leading Miami with four home runs and Bobby Marsh has been consistent for Miami through most of the season with a team-high 24 runs batted in. Hugus has been Miami's best starter with a 2-2 record, 3.74 ERA and 0.99 WHIP.
