The University of Miami has been proactive in strengthening its offensive line through recent recruiting efforts. A notable addition is four-star offensive tackle Ben Congdon, who committed to the Hurricanes over other programs, including Penn State. Congdon's commitment was a significant win for head coach Mario Cristobal and his staff.
Congdon has also taken an active role in recruiting fellow elite prospects, notably five-star offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell. Cantwell is ranked as the top OL recruit for the 2026 class.
The Hurricanes' focus on the offensive line is also evident in their 2025 recruiting class. The 2025 class is led by center Seuseu Alofaituli, their top-ranked offensive signee. Offensive line signees Max Buchanan and Demetrius Campbell are considered developmental players, with projections to redshirt their first season.
Additionally, blue-chip tight ends Luka Gilbert and Brock Schott are expected to continue Miami's tradition of excellence at the tight end position.
Miami's efforts in recruiting elite offensive linemen like Brown, Congdon and Cantwell position the Hurricanes to build a formidable offensive front in the coming seasons.
