Some concerning news has come in for new Miami Hurricanes quarterback Carson Beck. According to reporter Andy Slater, Beck had two of his cars stolen overnight: a Lamborghini and a Mercedes. Beck recently made the move this winter to Miami after transferring in from Georgia.

That's not where the story ends, however. Per Slater, the thieves also managed to steal Hanna Cavinder's SUV. Luckily for Cavinder, Beck's girlfriend, the police have already been able to locate her vehicle. However, the search continues for Beck's cars at this time:

Per Slater's sources, the search indeed continues to help out Beck. This is unfortunate all around, especially with the Miami quarterback still recovering from offseason elbow surgery. Miami is set to open up spring ball soon, but Beck won't be participating in practices.

The good news, however, is that he's expected to be at 100 percent by the time fall camp arrives, which will be key for him. Once August gets here, Beck will be able to start building on-field chemistry with his new wide receivers, including LSU transfer CJ Daniels.

Until then, though, he'll be supporting his teammates while they're in action, while also doing plenty of work with Shannon Dawson to learn the offense. There are some pretty big expectations for Beck and Miami this season, especially after the team fell short of winning the ACC and reaching the College Football Playoff in 2024.

It's on the new QB1 to fill the massive void being left with Cam Ward, the projected No. 1 pick, leaving Coral Gables to chase his NFL dreams. Fans are confident Beck will be able to deliver, but at the same time his biggest supporters are now feeling terrible for him due to what happened with his cars this week. Hopefully a positive update is on the way soon for the veteran signal-caller.
