The search continues for a Lamborghini and a Mercedes belonging to new Miami Hurricanes quarterback Carson Beck. In case you missed it, Beck had two cars stolen overnight, while the thieves also took an SUV belonging to Hanna Cavinder, Beck's girlfriend.
Cavinder's SUV was quickly located, which was good news. Police continue to help out Beck with his stolen property. According to reporter Andy Slater, an arrest has since been made, with a 20-year-old man confessing to the crime. Per Slater, the man arrested informed police that he was one of four men who entered Beck's home, grabbed the keys to the vehicles and took off:

Slater's sources also told him that the four men who broke into the home were wearing masks at the time. Fortunately, Beck and Cavinder were both asleep while this happened and they weren't harmed during the process. Beck also had a backpack taken, but it was found 'nearby' not too long after.
This is an ongoing investigation, as the three other individuals involved are still on the loose as of this writing. Beck arrived in Miami after announcing he was entering the transfer portal. He was a standout quarterback for Georgia and originally he was planning to enter the NFL Draft.
Instead, the standout QB has decided to close out his college career playing for Mario Cristobal in 2025. The Hurricanes have huge expectations for next season, especially after the team dropped the ball late in the campaign and missed out on the College Football Playoff.
As for Beck and Cavinder, this is certainly a scary situation for them, but local authorities are doing everything they can to get to the bottom of things. More updates on this case are sure to arrive in the near future too.
