It's go time for NFL teams across the country. Following the 2025 NFL Combine, squads are now going to start scheduling visits with players high on their board. When it comes to Miami Hurricanes superstar quarterback Cam Ward, we don't have to tell you plenty of organizations are interested.
The list includes the Tennessee Titans, who hold the No. 1 overall pick. For a while now, Ward has been linked with the AFC South side, but rumors continue to fly that a franchise, potentially the New York Giants, will trade up to the top spot to grab Ward.
Despite that, the door is still wide open for Tennessee to stay put at No. 1 and bring in a new standout signal-caller for local fans to get excited about. With that, the Titans are of course going to do all their homework on Ward, which will include a visit on Friday so he can meet with the staff and front office:
As the #Titans evaluate the top players and their plans at No. 1, they’ll host some key prospects over the next week.

The Titans will host Miami QB Cam Ward for a visit on Friday
Obviously, Ward isn't the only prospect who will be heading to town. According to Ian Rapoport, the Titans also have upcoming visits scheduled with Abdul Carter and Shedeur Sanders, while Travis Hunter is also finalizing a date.
There are certainly several different directions the Titans can go come draft night. Should they end up trading away that top pick, it won't come cheap for the Giants or anyone who wants to make a splash. However, let's keep in mind that Tennessee also needs a QB1.
Will Levis was recently taken in the second round, but he has not lived up to the hype at all in Nashville. He's not the long-term answer at the position for the Titans, but plenty of people are making the case that Ward most definitely could be.
Ward, who transferred in from Washington State, put up absurd numbers for Miami this past season - he tossed for 4,313 yards and 39 touchdowns. He was one-and-done for the Canes, but he raised his draft stock in monumental fashion.
Leading up to the draft, the speculation will continue to grow on him going to Tennessee. More visits will be on the way, but the Titans passing on Ward is something they might end up regretting down the road. We'll see if that happens or not.
