If there was any doubt that the Miami Hurricanes are the class of the ACC, recent win total odds from FanDuel answers the question emphatically.

The sportsbook released expected win totals for all Power 4 schools, as the Hurricanes number has been set at 10.5, by far the highest in the conference. The next closest ACC team is SMU, who are sitting at 8.5 on the win total.

Miami has won 23 games over the past two seasons and set a school record with 13 wins last season, advancing all the way to the CFP Championship Game where the Hurricanes lost to Indiana.

Win odds confirm Miami is a runaway favorite in the ACC

The win total places Miami near the top of college football. Ironically, they will face one of the two teams with higher win totals, Notre Dame, on November 7 in a showdown that could very well determine one of the first-round byes in next season's CFP 12-team bracket (and Hurricane fans can fly to South Bend directly!)

As for the rest of the schedule, conference and non-conference, it's safe to say that anything short of 11 wins and winning the ACC Championship would be a major disappointment. With the additions of transfers like quarterback Darian Mensah and edge rusher Damon Wilson II along with a top recruiting class and a ton of experience returning on offense, the Hurricanes have not only the best roster in the ACC, but likely one of the top 3–4 rosters in the country.

Miami was so good in its final 6–7 games last season, that it's tough to remember that the Hurricanes didn't win the ACC even though they were the conference's only representative in the playoffs. This year, however, the Hurricanes should leave no doubt. Expectations have never been higher around Coral Gables, and it's exactly the way Mario Cristobal wants it.
